GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Detroit Lions, mercifully for us and for them, are on the bye week this week, so the West Michigan market will get to check out some different teams this week.

But, not too different.  If it seems like we get to see the Green Bay Packers here a lot, you are right. The regional coverage tends to send our neighbors and our NFC north rivals into our homes via TV often and this weekend is no different.

FOX has just one game this weekend, and for us that is the Green Bay Packers visiting the unbeaten Carolina Panthers at 1:00pm.  This matchup of NFC powers also goes to most of the country and is hosted by the #1 FOX team of Joe Buck and Troy Aikman.

CBS gets the doubleheader this week, with West Michigan and most of the country getting to see the Oakland Raiders visit the Pittsburgh Steelers at 1:00pm and then the whole country gets the dynamic duo of Jim Nantz and Phil Sims at 4:00pm for Denver at Indianapolis.

The Chicago Bears are on Monday night football this week and our other NFC north foe, the Minnesota Vikings, is on FOX at 1:00pm, but just in Minnesota, the Dakotas and other northern markets and in St. Louis.
