LOWELL, Mich. — Police said slippery roads are likely the cause behind a crash that killed a 23 year old man from Caledonia on Saturday afternoon.

The accident happened in the 3100 block of Alden Nash just before 4:30 p.m.

Tyler Kroll, 23, was headed south as Carol Ingrim, 67, of Greenville was driving north when the two collided, according to police.

Investigators said Kroll was pronounced dead at the scene.

Ingrum was taken the hospital with minor injuries, police said.

Alcohol isn’t believed to be a factor in the crash.
