DETROIT, Mich. - The Lowell Red Arrows fell in a heart-breaking way in the Division 2 Michigan State High School championship football game.

Detroit King scored on 40-yard "Hail Mary" pass as time expired to down the Red Arrows 40-38.  King had started their final drive from their own 5-yard line with 37 seconds remaining.

Lowell was leading 31-13 in the 2nd half, but King came back and closed the gap to four with about four minutes left.
