They are going to need a bigger place than that! Gee, wonder why they couldn’t use the VanAndel…must be because Trump is not part of the establishment. He isn’t “connected”. Meaning he isn’t beholden to the string pullers the way the other candidates are. If you want more of the same, vote for Clinton or Cruz. You might as well re-elect Carter or Bush at that point though, because you will guarantee yourself more of the same that we have been getting, only worse. REAL change (not the kind Obama promised) is hard. It takes you out of your comfort zone. But REAL change can only come from having someone at the top who is from outside the system.
I don’t have any confidence in our system or our government anymore, and I don’t think many people do. But we don’t hold those kinds of votes because they are afraid of what they will hear.
I am voting for Trump and for every other establishment-bucker and outsider who shows up on my ballot whether it is president or local school board. I am going to give the government a vote of no-confidence whether they want one or not by voting for Trump. They can ignore the message if he doesn’t win. But if he gets elected they can no longer ignore the will of the people.

That is it in a nutshell. Politicians are not supposed to be doing what they think is right, they are supposed to be doing what the people want, even if it is not in anyone’s best interest. Everyone is focusing on what the candidates believe, but what the candidates believe is supposed to be irrelevant! Their whole job is to do what the voters tell them to do. The current federal government, from the top all the way down, is hell bent on manipulating and/or ignoring what the people want and doing what makes them the most money and gives them the most power. That is a breach of trust, a violation of the oath of office, and when it violates the Constitution or costs American lives it is treason. Since the branches of government responsible for keeping that in check are “in on it” the entire government is rightly called corrupt (and technically illegitimate), and needs to be stopped in its tracks before it can do any further damage.

Electing someone who is not part of the current corruption is pretty much the only legal recourse the American people have left to them, as international governing bodies have not stepped in to recognize the illegitimacy of the current regime. So when you say that electing anyone else will insure that we get more of the same, you are absolutely right. Republican or Democrat, elect any of the other candidates and the slide into social and economic collapse that we are currently on will continue.

Do I like Trump? No. Do I trust him? No. I don’t like or trust any of the candidates who have run in the last 30 years. That isn’t anything new. But I am going to vote for him. Not because I think he will be able to get anything more done than Obama has, because without Congresional cooperation he can’t do a whole lot of anything, really. No, I am going to vote for him exactly for the same reason you gave…to send a message to DC that the real power still lies with the people.

I would like to challenge DJT to a political duel, but he might be too chicken to challenge Yeshua himself…
