IONIA, Mich. – A parole absconder from Tennessee was seen in Ionia County Tuesday morning and police need help in finding him.
The Ionia Department of Public Safety says an officer tried to pull over Joey Lynn Dodson early Tuesday morning, but Dodson didn’t stop and pulled into a driveway on Prairie Creek Drive. Dodson then ran from the scene. A K-9 unit from the Ionia County Sheriff was called in, but couldn’t find Dodson.
Dodson is wanted in Tennessee for a Sex Offender Registry violation.
