MSP: Be vigilant this holiday season

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – We are in one of the busiest times of the year and Michigan State Police are reminding you to be aware of your surroundings at all times.

President Obama and Homeland Security says that there are no credible threats to the United States or Michigan during the holiday period, but everyone should be prepared and “See Something, Say Something.”

Police say you should keep your eyes and ears open for anything suspicious, like unattended packages, people acting suspiciously, etc.

If you see something, you should call 911 or 1-800-MICH-TIPS or fill out a suspicious activity report here.  They’ve also posted a video on the 7 Signs of Terrorism. You can watch that below.
