GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – A man already under arrest for dealing heroin is now under investigation for delivering drugs to a Belding woman who died from an overdose.

Anthony Lee Wiles was arrested in an undercover operation in October while delivering heroin to an undercover officer in a gas station parking lot at Bridge Street and Lane Avenue.  Three days before he was arrested, Kathleen Webster, 33, was found dead from an overdose of a mixture of heroin and methamphetamine.

Police say they believe that the heroin came from Wiles.  Wiles pleaded guilty to the delivery of heroin and will be sentenced in February.

The Kent County Sheriff’s Office says that the delivery of heroin causing death could be prosecuted in federal court.
