MANLIUS TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A 29-year-old man has been charged with attacking and sexually assaulting an Allegan County woman in her garage in September 2015.
Christopher Lee Allen is charged with second-degree criminal sexual conduct, breaking and entering, assault with intent to commit sexual contact and fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct, according to Allegan County District Court Officials.
Allen is accused of attacking the 25-year-old woman in her garage in the 5600 block of 136th Avenue Sept. 29 while she attempted to get into her car.
The victim told FOX 17 News that she fought her attacker off after he touched her inappropriately. She escaped and called police.
Allen was arrested on unrelated charges Dec. 29, according to the sheriff’s department. The victim told deputies that she had spotted a suspicious vehicle near her home on several occasions. Patrol deputies stopped the vehicle and made an arrest based on an outstanding warrant for charges in the September incident Jan. 6.
