SOLON TOWNSHIP, Mich. — One man was killed late Sunday night, when a car crossed the center line and crashed head-on into his vehicle, according to police.

It happened on White Creek Avenue near 17 Mile Road in Solon Township.  According to the Kent County Sheriff’s Department, a Cadillac CTS drifted into oncoming traffic, and crashed into an Oldsmobile Cutlass.

The driver of the Oldsmobile, identified as William Rowan, 48, was killed in the crash.  The driver of the Cadillac suffered minor injuries.

Police say weather may have played a role in this crash, but it is not clear if alcohol was involved.
