COMSTOCK TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Two men have been arrested after an early morning home invasion in Kalamazoo County.

Deputies from the Sheriff’s Department were called about 2:00am Tuesday to the 3600 block of Comstock Village Lane on reports of a home invasion in progress. A resident of the complex had seen the two suspects trying to break in to an apartment through the rear sliding door and window.  The resident was able to give deputies a detailed description of the suspects and their clothing.

Deputies arrived at the scene and found the two suspects still nearby.  They were taken into custody, with assistance from K9 Zeus.  One of the suspects was carrying a pellet gun.

The two are being held and are expected to be charged with Attempted Home Invasion, Felony Firearms and Possession of Burglary Tools.
