PORTAGE, Mich. — Theresa Lynne Petto was found competent to stand trail in the shooting death of 25-year-old Rachel Drafta, according to Kalamazoo County Circuit Court officials.

Petto is accused of shooting Drafta the morning of June 24, 2015 in her driveway in the 2900 block of French Bay.  Drafta died from her injuries June 27.

In addition to murder charges, Petto is facing a charge of attempted unlawful imprisonment.  Investigators said in June that Petto was angry because Drafta was dating her ex-boyfriend.

Petto was found competent to stand trial Jan. 22 and is scheduled to be back in court March 25.
