SIDNEY TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A man who plead guilty in the killing of a Montcalm County man will spend several years in prison.
According to the Montcalm County prosecutor, Alan Lee Morse was sentenced Thursday to between 26 and 75 years in prison for the death of Alan “Dale” Nelson, 80, in March 2015.
Morse, 48, was charged with the killing that happened in the 500 block of Nelson Drive on Nevins Lake. Nelson was found shot to death at the home March 29 after a series of home invasions.
