BATTLE CREEK, Mich. -- A 19-year-old man was shot in the face Wednesday in the area of South Avenue and High Street, according to Battle Creek Police.
Police say the man was shot at about 4:37 p.m. while he was a passenger in a vehicle. He was taken to the hospital and his injuries are considered non-life threatening.
He was shot by someone firing from another vehicle, according to police. A home in the area was also struck by stray bullets.
