Good morning!  This weekend looks to be the entire opposite of what we endured for the last few days with snow and colder temperatures.  To close out the month, expect many areas to melt off most of the snow that just fell!

Before we get to that, I want to mention that I’ll be at the first storm spotter training of the year in Jenison tonight.  Tracy and Ty will join me, so please come out and say hi and help us out during the upcoming severe weather season!

By Saturday, we’ll see our winds switch out of the south and southwest and that’s really going to propel us to warmer temperatures for this weekend!

Both Saturday and Sunday, expect fairly windy conditions with potential gusts on Sunday over 40 mph.  This will create much warmer air for us, but it will be short lived.

Tomorrow looks to be sunny and breezy, with partly cloudy skies.  Sunday will be warmer, but you see that rain and snow later on the day!

A cold front arrives later on Sunday night.  We’ll see rain first, and then leftover snow on the back end of this system.  Right now this doesn’t look to be an accumulation event, but we’ll keep you posted.  Have a great weekend in the mean time, and hope to see you at the spotter training!
