WYOMING, Mich. -- Two teens accused in the shooting death of 17-year-old Isaiah Blue were back in court Wednesday for a preliminary hearing.

Mitchell Savickas, 18, and Daniel Benavides, 16, were previously charged with  felony murder, three counts of armed robbery and felony firearms.  An additional open murder charge was added for each of them during Wednesday's hearing.

A judge also heard testimony about Blue's Jan. 27 death.   Police say Blue and some friends left a bus near 44th Street and Rhodes Avenue that night and were followed by Savickas, Benavides and another 15-year-old suspect.

Blue was shot and killed when the group tried to rob him.

The 15-year-old said that he and others left Savickas' uncle's home with guns that evening.  He also stated that Savickas recognized Blue during the robbery.  However, Savickas told FOX 1`7 in a jail interview that he didn't know the victim.
