Celebrate St. Patty’s day while giving back to Vets

GRAND HAVEN, Mich. – For nearly a decade, the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Grand Haven have been celebrating St. Patrick’s Day while also giving back to local veteran organizations.

And they’re back at it again this year. On March 10th, the Grand Haven VFW will host their annual St. Patrick’s Day Corned Beef Dinner celebration. Those interested can be at 20 North First Street in Grand Haven from 5-7 p.m.

Sobie Meats based in Grand Rapids is sponsoring the event and providing the food ranging from corn beef and Reuben Brat along with baby carrots, red skin potatoes, cabbage and onions. Dessert will be provided by Chocolates by Chocolates by Grimaldi.
There will also be live Celtic music performed by Uneven Ground.

Adults are $8 to participate and kids are just $4. All proceeds will go towards the Grand Haven VFW for their operating costs, as well as to benefit veterans and veterans programs.
