KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Abigail Kopf, the 14-year-old survivor from February’s mass shootings in Kalamazoo, was released from the hospital today.

Bronson Hospital told FOX 17 today in a release that her condition had steadily been improving and is ready for her next stage of her recovery. She is being transferred to Mary Free Bed in Grand Rapids for rehabilitation.

Abigail suffered critical injuries after being shot in the head the night of Feb. 20.   She was with four other women at the Cracker Barrel in Kalamazoo when they were gunned down.

The four women, plus two others shot at a Seelye Kia on Stadium Drive, were killed that night.

Abigail ultimately spent 17 days at Bronson.
