Two charged with making threat at adult education center

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Two men have been charged after allegedly threatening to “shoot up” an adult learning center, according to Grand Rapids Police.

Alexander Rose, 22, and Mark Hollinshead, 21, were charged Monday with making a false report or threat of terrorism.  Police say they made threats at about 12 a.m. Monday that targeted the Beckwith Adult Education Center, 2405 Leonard St. NE.

The two men went to night classes at the center, according to a release from police.

Rose was arrested at a home in the 4200 block of South Castle Ridge Dr., according to Grand Rapid Police.  Hollinshead was arrested at a home in the 900 block of Jones St. in Walker.
