Man arrested for four CSC counts has previous conviction

MECOSTA COUNTY, Mich. – A Mecosta County man already on the Michigan Sex Offender Registry has been arrested again for crimes involving a minor.

Michigan State Police started their investigation on February 16th into a case of Criminal Sexual Conduct, 1st degree, involving a minor under the age of 13 in Grant Township.  During the investigation, they found Christopher Clair Corsello, 33, a convicted sex offender who had served time for CSC with a minor, was not living at the address listed for him on the Sex Offender Registry.

Corsello was arrested on February 23rd for the Sex Offender Registry violation. As police continued their investigation into the new crime, they charged Corsello with four felonies for the Grant Township crime: Criminal Sexual Conduct, 1st degree, involving a minor under 13, Criminal Sexual Conduct, 2nd degree, involving a minor under 13, Accosting a Child for Immoral Purposes and Distributing Sexually Explicit Material to a minor.

Corsello is currently being held on a $1 million bond.
