LOS ANGELES — A man who got mad at management of a sushi restaurant left a 13-foot python in the middle of the eatery and walked out, the LA Times reported. The man had gone on a rant after paying his $200 bill.

Police arrested Hiroshi Motohashi on suspicion of making threats.

Motohashi earlier displayed a smaller snake to other customers at Iroshi Sushi of Tokyo, though fellow patrons didn’t appreciate it, said the newspaper. After his rant, he left , returned with the bigger snake, and dumped it on the floor before leaving again.

The LA Times reported Motohashi has had previous run-ins with the law over his exotic pets.
