BANGOR TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A-31-year old man was arrested on drug charges Friday afternoon.
It happened in the 46,000 block of 60th Street in Bangor Township.
The Van Buren County Sheriff’s Department said a deputy noticed the 31-year-old driver near CR 378 and knew he was driving without a license. The driver attempted to escape police by pulling into a driveway along 60th Street.
Police said they found evidence of meth and prescription drugs in the vehicle, along with stolen property. Police said the man may be responsible for breaking and entering into a nearby home.
The man also was reportedly operating a vehicle under the influence of drugs.
