Newaygo County surveyor accused of soliciting prostitutes

NEWAYGO COUNTY, Mich. — The Newaygo County surveyor is facing charges for allegedly soliciting prostitutes.

Michigan State Police say Norman Leo Ochs, 76, of White Cloud was arrested on Monday and was arraigned on three counts of prostitution. Authorities say the maximum penalty for these charges are 93 days jail for each charge as well as a $500 fine if convicted.

The incidents reportedly happened in White Cloud over a two-year period.
