KALAMAZOO, Mich— The Kalamazoo Wings defeated the South Carolina Stingrays, 5-3, in game three of their best-of-seven Eastern Conference Quarterfinals series on Monday at Wings Event Center. Justin Kovacs scored two goals and added an assist in the win.
Kalamazoo trails the best-of-seven series 2-1 as the series shifts to South Carolina for game four on Thursday. Kalamazoo snapped South Carolina’s 18-game unbeaten in regulation streak.
