2 drivers and 1 passenger hurt in Mecosta County accident

MECOSTA COUNTY, Mich. — Three people were injured in a two-vehicle crash at midday Saturday.

At 12:47 p.m. Saturday, Mecosta County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a report of a two-vehicle accident with injuries on Pierce Road/110th Avenue in Morton Township. The investigation revealed that a 65-year-old man from Middletown, Ohio, was eastbound when his vehicle crossed the center line and struck a westbound vehicle driven by a 76-year-old woman.

Both drivers and a 62-year-old passenger all were transported to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.

Morton Township Fire/Rescue and Alpha 2 and 3 assisted the Mecosta County Sheriff’s Office at the scene.
