GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – For those who have already taken the first step of penning their works, a seminar in Grand Rapids aims to help with the next, perhaps equally daunting task of getting it published.

The Great Lakes Commonwealth of Letters is hosting a poetry workshop today specifically designed to guide writers through the steps of the publishing process. The workshop is taught by Kathleen McGookey, author of several published works herself.

The cost for the one hour class (3 p.m. – 4 p.m.) is just $25. The GLCL is located at 758 Wealthy Street SE in Grand Rapids and for more information on this workshop as well as other events, you can email questions to info@readwritelive.org
