WYOMING, Mich. - One person has been arrested after a standoff with police Tuesday morning.
The incident started around 3:30am at a home on Michael Avenue near Burton Street SW. Police were called to the home on shots being fired inside.
Six people were inside of the home when the shots were supposedly fired. Police say that when they got to the scene four of the people had gotten outside, but one person was still in the basement with the alleged armed person upstairs. Police were able to get that man out of the basement and then made contact with the person upstairs and he surrendered without incident.
No one was injured and Wyoming Police are still investigating the scene.
