Plainwell’s Conklin drafted by Titans

CHICAGO, Illinois — Plainwell native and former Michigan State All-American Jack Conklin was taken with the eighth overall pick by the Tennessee Titans in the 2016 NFL Draft on Thursday night.

Conklin walked on to start his Spartan career, eventually becoming an All-American and helping MSU to two Big Ten championships, Rose Bowl and Cotton Bowl titles, and a trip to the 2015 College Football Playoff.
