WYOMING, Mich. — The home of the original chicken sandwich might soon find a home here in West Michigan.

Monday, the Wyoming Board of Zoning Appeals unanimously approved a variance for the location of a new Chick-fil-A.

With zoning out of the way, the next step is for the restaurant to present its engineering and architectural plans before construction permits can be obtained.

The restaurant is looking at setting up shop in the Meijer parking lot at 54th & Clyde Park.

Talks are also underway for a Chick-fil-A to come to Gaines Township as well. The Gaines Township Board of Directors will make their final decision on May 9th.
