GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – A Grand Rapids man escaped serious injury Thursday after driving into two garages on the northeast side.
The incident happened in the 700 block of Evelyn Street NE about 11:00am.
Grand Rapids fire crews had to rescue the man from under part of one of the garages which fell on his vehicle after the crash. The man apparently drove through his own garage and hit the garage next door.

The man suffered minor injuries.
