KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Abigail Kopf is heading home from the hospital again.
The youngest victim in the February 20 shooting spree that left six people dead and two wounded is heading home after undergoing surgery to replace part of her skull that was missing after being shot.
On the Abbie Kopf Recovery Facebook page, family posted Monday morning that Kopf is heading home from the hospital. Friday, she had a 3D-printed plate inserted into her head to replace a missing portion of her skull.
Over the weekend, the family posted a photo of Abbie and her favorite nurse, Amy.
