Shooting in Grand Rapids sends one to hospital

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — One person has been hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries after a shooting in Grand Rapids, police say.

It happened Monday night at around midnight in front of a home on Prince SE.  Police say a man in his 30s was shot and taken to the hospital for treatment.  He is expected to survive.

It is not clear what led up to the shooting.  No suspects are in custody at this time.
