HOLLAND, Mich. — Holland Police are looking to find a man who allegedly asked a young boy to get in his car Thursday afternoon.

Police say a 10-year-boy was walking westbound on 15th Street near Columbia Ave when a car pulled up alongside next to him. The driver of the car – a white male, possibly in his 30s – allegedly called out the window and asked the boy to get in.

A couple walking in the area witnessed the interaction and approached the car, but as they got closer the driver drove off.

Holland Police say they don’t know what the intentions of the drivers are yet, however officers are trying to identify him so they can question him.

The driver is described as a tan white male in his 30s with some facial hair, wearing sunglasses and a dark-colored baseball hat. His car is described as an older, rusty, 4-door Pontiac Sunfire with a rear fin and no hubcaps.

Those with information are asked to contact the Holland Department of Public Safety at (616) 355-1150, or e-mail investigators at policetips@cityofholland.com.  Silent Observer can be reached anonymously by calling 1-877-887-4536.
