Cass County rollover injures man, woman and child

MILTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Three people were hurt in a one-vehicle rollover in Cass County on Friday evening.

According to Sheriff Joseph Underwood Jr., at 8:49 p.m. Friday  deputies, the Howard Township Fire Department and the SMACUS ambulance responded to a report of a single-vehicle accident with injuries on the M-60/U.S. 12 interchange in Milton Township.  Upon arriving at the scene they found the vehicle’s three occupants had been hurt.

The investigation showed that Danny Sink, 33, of Osceola, Ind., had been driving when his vehicle left the roadway and overturned.

Sink and two passengers — -Kimberly Payne of Edwardsburg and her son, Aden — all were transported by ambulance to Memorial Hospital in South Bend, Ind., with minor injuries.

All three were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.

Police said it wasn’t known if alcohol was a factor in the accident.

The crash remains under investigation by the Cass County Sheriff’s Department.
