Lance Armstrong attending”Finish the Ride” event in Kalamazoo

KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Lance Armstrong is said to be coming to West Michigan to help honor the victims of the Kalamazoo tragedy last week.

FOX 17 has learned that Armstrong will be in Kalamazoo on Tuesday to participate in “Finish the Ride” event.

Five people were killed and four others were injured on June 7 after a truck crashed into a group of bicyclists in Kalamazoo County.

The crash happened just before 7 p.m. in the 5500 block of N. Westnedge Avenue, according to Kalamazoo County Undersheriff Paul Matyas.
