WEST MICHIGAN — It’s been pretty warm out there the last several days. While this may ideal for some of your outdoor plans in the afternoon, keep in mind to stay hydrated and use sunblock.
Among the events going on in West Michigan this week, the Meijer LPGA Classic at Blythefield Country Club is one of them. Temps warm up into the low 90s easily by this afternoon, and with a bit of humidity, it’ll feel like it’s in the mid 90s at certain points of the day. I said this several times on the air this morning, but it’s important to mix some waters in between other beverages. Alcohol dehydrates you very quickly. If you’re in a situation where you’re exposed to full sunshine, this will happen even quicker. Mix in a water in between those “other” beverages and head indoors once in a while and you’ll do just fine.
One of the main talking points in the forecast this morning was that it will be much cooler by next week. Ironically, the first day of summer occurs Monday evening, but it will be a generally cooler week ahead.
