Portland St. Patrick loses to Parkway Christian in state championship game

EAST LANSING, Mich -- Sterling Heights Parkway Christian scored 5 runs in the second inning on their way to a 10-3 win over Portland St. Patrick Saturday in the division 4 baseball state championship game at Michigan State University.

St. Pats was led by junior catcher Brendan Schrauben who was 2-2 with a pair of walks.  Travis Moyer, Brady Lehman and Nick Coyne drove in runs for the Shamrocks.

St. Pats finishes the year at 23-8.
