ALLEGAN, Mich. – The man accused of dousing his girlfriend in acid has been found not competent to stand trial.

Gregory Marsman has been remanded to the Michigan Department of Mental Health, where he can stay up to 15 months, according to Frederick Anderson, Allegan County Prosecutor.  After he is ‘treated’ there, he will have another competency exam.

Marsman is charged with torture, home invasion and domestic violence after the alleged attack on his girlfriend, Sheryl Keech on March 16.  Keech was seriously injured and is still working on recovering from her injuries.
