Ionia County’s 9-1-1 problems have been corrected

UPDATE: At 12:22 p.m. Saturday, Ionia County Central Dispatch announced that its 9-1-1 problems had been repaired.

IONIA, Mich. — Ionia County is experiencing difficulties with 9-1-1 calls to its Central Dispatch center.

At 9:50 a.m. Saturday, Ionia County Central Dispatch told FOX 17 that its 9-1-1 lines were being transferred to Barry County.

“The glitch is being looked into,” they said.

Central Dispatch said that until the problem is corrected all calls should be directed to (616) 527-0400 until further notice.
