FENNVILLE, Mich. – Family and friends of a woman badly hurt in an acid attack are raising funds to help repair her home.

In March, Sheryl Keech suffered acid burns to her face and throat after being attacked by her boyfriend.  She is now legally blind.  Her home was also badly damaged and her family has been working on fixing it up ever since.

The say that money is tight, because Keech’s claim for disability has been denied.

This Saturday, July 9, they are looking for volunteers to help paint and make other repairs at the home in Fennville at 1371 66th Street.  Work begins at 9:00am.

They are also seeking donations at their GoFundMe page here.
