BATTLE CREEK, Mich. – Six teens were arrested Sunday for robbing a man of his $2,000 sunglasses at a Battle Creek gas station.

Battle Creek Police say that the victim was in the parking lot of the gas station when the teens approached with a handgun and took his Cartier sunglasses.  The man called 911 and started to follow the teens in his vehicle, but they stopped and fired shots at him.  The victim’s vehicle was hit by several bullets.

Police arrested the teens on a dead-end street.  They are described as four male teens from Grand Rapids and two females, all aged between 16 and 19.  They are facing charges of Armed Robbery and Assault with Intent to Murder.
