BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — Police are searching for a man they say robbed a Fifth Third Bank Friday evening.

It happened around 5:20 p.m. at the branch in the 600 block of Capitol Ave.

Officers say an unknown male went into the bank, wearing a mask, hoodie, and dark-colored pants. The man went up to a teller, demanded money, grabbed some cash and then ran away.

He was last seen in the area of Roe St. Two K9 officers were used to try and track the suspect but were unsuccessful. But an area canvass did help police find a few witnesses.
