1. The Republican National Convention gets underway in Cleveland today, with Donald Trump as its star.

A speech by Melania Trump kicks off opening night, which may also include an appearance from her husband.

Overall, viewership for the national political conventions dropped 26 percent after 1968, but with Trump as the presumptive republican nominee, the unpredictable will return to the convention floor.

Trump brought record numbers of viewers to the GOP primary debates, and it's likely he'll have a similar effect during convention.

2. A tobacco ban is set to go into effect soon at Michigan State University.

According to the Lansing State Journal, starting August 15, all tobacco products will be banned. That includes everything from cigarettes and smokeless tobacco, to e-cigarettes.

In addition to prohibiting use in the buildings and on school lawns, the ban also extends to any personal vehicles that are on school property.

Student violators can get anything from a written warning to a suspension.

The school says it's all about making MSU a healthier place.

3. Hopcat is expanding yet again, and its newest location is set to open soon in Chicago.

Barfly Ventures, the company that owns Hopcat, says the new location will open on Saturday, September 3.

It’ll be in the historic Lincoln Park neighborhood on North Clark Street about a mile and a half south of Wrigley Field.

They have plans to offer 130 different craft beers and ciders on tap, and more than 200 kinds of bottled beer. The brew pub will be Hopcat's 10th location and biggest market to date.

4. It looks like "Pokémon Go" was a no-go after it launched, and crashed, in 26 new countries over the weekend.

A group called Poodlecorp tweeted that it's behind the massive server crashes, after the game debuted worldwide on Saturday.

The tweets also suggested that another attack on Pokémon is coming.

"Pokémon Go" is a hugely popular augmented reality game that you can play on your phone.

It launched on July 7, but was only available in eight countries.

The company behind the game said it's working to fix server issues.

5. With more people shopping online, UPS said it's going to test out Saturday deliveries.

The shipping company is spending this summer testing out the delivery option in a few cities, before deciding if they want to make it permanent.

FedEx and the US Postal Service already deliver on Saturday.

UPS says it's a matter of keeping up with competition at a time when online shopping is surging.

The first test markets will include Atlanta, Philadelphia, and Los Angeles.
