The best bid callers from around the world arrive in Grand Rapids this week for the 67th annual Auctioneers Conference and Show.
The conference runs through Saturday, July 23 at the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel and DeVos Place Convention Center.
The conference is hosted by the National Auctioneers Association, where there will be a competition to find the best auctioneer in the country. Last year's champions were Tammy Tisland and Peter Gehres, who will be the master of ceremonies for this year's competition.
Along with an auctioneer competition, there will be resources and national networking opportunities for members, auction education classes, and world-renowned guest speakers and presenters.
The event is free and open to the public.
