1. We're getting a first look inside New Holland Brewing's Grand Rapids location.

It's on Bridge Street and will be known as The Knickerbocker.

The 40,000 square foot building will have a brewpub and distillery along with a full-size kitchen, butchery, and to-go area.

New Holland Brewing is currently hiring for The Knickerbocker.

More than 100 positions are available, from management to kitchen staff and servers.

They're expected to open this fall.

2. Parents, if you're always looking for ways to get the kids to burn off some of that energy, there's a new trampoline park you'll be able to check out soon.

Air Time Trampoline and Game Park just announced it's going to open at Center Point Mall in Grand Rapids, right next to Planet Fitness.

The 30,000 square foot location used to be a Menard's store.

We're told the park will have wall-to-wall trampolines, an Olympic grade foam pit, trampoline dodgeball courts, and slam dunk basketball.

Air Time is based in Detroit, and has other locations across the state. This will be the first one to open in the Grand Rapids area.

It's expected to open this fall.

3. The third annual Grand Rapids Balloon Festival kicks off in Hudsonville today.

The event will feature nearly 30 hot air balloons and three planned launches.

The gates will open at 1 p.m., and some of the festivities include an arts and crafts show, carnival games, and the popular night glow launches.

According to the event's website, tickets range from $1-$3 for kids and adults, and parking is free.

The festival raises money for charities, like the Children's Miracle Network and Helen DeVos Children's Hospital.

4. Movies in the Park continues at Ah-Nab-Awen park in Grand Rapids tonight.

“The Mask of Zorro” will start at dusk.

Pre-film entertainment starts at 7 p.m. and includes Argentine tango demonstrations and lessons, lassoing lessons, face painting and mask making for the kids, live music and more.

There are only a few films left for the summer series. August 5 is “Edward Scissorhands” and August 19 is a double feature with “Ferris Bueller's Day Off” and voter's choice.

5. Amazon wants to give students a discount on loans for school.

Amazon Prime is teaming up with Wells Fargo to offer 0.5 percent interest rate discounts on student loans.

While the offer is for members of its student prime program, there's no application fee from the bank.

Plus, repayment doesn't have to start until six months after you leave school.

Wells Fargo says the undergrad loans come with either fixed or variable interest rates.

Graduate students are also eligible for the discount.
