ALLEGAN, Mich. — Allegan Police are searching for a woman who they say stole a purse that contained a “very large sum of money.”
Amanda Brooks-Kolberg, 29, is known to frequent the Allegan, Kalamazoo and Pullman areas, according to a release. She might be driving a 1999 Chrysler Town & Country minivan with Michigan plate DNA 3076.
Police say Brooks-Kolberg was caught on surveillance video stealing the purse from a business Tuesday at noon. The purse belonged to the business owner, who was going to use the money inside for a down payment on a house, according to a release.
