Spend some time outdoors and get to know your community at the second annual Garfield Park Summer Celebration.
The Summer Celebration is Saturday, August 6 from 1-8 p.m. The event is hosted by the Garfield Park Neighbors Association, and is completely free.
There will be live performances by Hey Marco!, Lady Ace Boogie, Rick Chyme, and more.
In addition to live music and multiple food vendors, there will be guided walking tours of historic Garfield Park, and a chance to win prizes like backpacks and a tablet.
From 1-4 p.m. there will also be a "Kid Zone" with family activities and games.
