RICHLAND TWP., Mich. – A Kalamazoo teen has died after an early morning crash Monday.
The crash happened about 2:15am Monday in the 9800 block of N. 32nd Street. Kalamazoo deputies said that the one vehicle involved had gone off of the roadway and struck several trees.
The passenger in the vehicle, Conner Blinn, 17, died Monday night from his injuries. The driver, Jacob Lyons, 17, of Augusta, is being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Investigators say that both teens were wearing their seatbelts, but speed appears to have been a factor in the crash.
