West Michigan – For the 16th time this season the temperature in Grand Rapids climbed to 90 degrees or above. However, temperatures will drop a bit as we head into the weekend as a cold front slips through the state.
The cold front will move into West Michigan by late tonight and move east of the state by Friday evening. A few showers or thunderstorms are possible with the front, but no severe weather is expected.
Highs on Friday will still reach the mid-upper 80s especially from Grand Rapids and off to the south/east. We will notice the cooler air for both Saturday and Sunday with highs back in the lower 80s. Temperatures along the lakeshore will be even cooler with highs only in the mid-upper 70s.
