GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A heavy police presence in one Grand Rapids neighborhood Saturday night had some area residents concerned.
Police say officers were conducting a traffic stop in the area of Eastern and Kalamazoo, when the driver took off.
Officials told FOX 17 a K-9 unit was brought up to help out in the search, but they’ve had no luck catching the person.
Police say the driver doesn’t pose a threat to the community. Authorities suggest locking your doors to help secure your safety at all times.
