A more efficient way to cut stems and leaves off of strawberries

Strawberries are a healthy and delicious snack to pack in your kids' school lunches, but so much fruit can be wasted by cutting off the top of the fruit to get rid of the stems.

Instead of cutting off the top of the fruit with a knife, you can use a straw to get rid of the leaves and the stems.

Take the strawberry, and stick the straw through the bottom of the fruit. Push the straw until it goes through the top, and the stem should pop right off.

Pull out the straw, then you'll have a stemless strawberry, the leaves should come off too!
